Laser Beam Profiling a few years ago

Hey People,

i just liked to show you a picture of a "Laser Beam Profiler" from a few years ago.

This picture shows a beam profil of a C02-Laser. They just took a little piece of a polymer for example PMMA/plastic and shoot with strong laser beam a hole in this piece. After that you are holding your beam profil in your hands :)
Not so elegent like nowadays but pretty cool.
